Food
We will be eating fresh, organic, locally grown plant based meals lovingly prepared according to the Ayurvedic principle of food as medicine. Ayurveda views food as both nourishment and a primary tool for self healing, essential for balancing the mind, body, and spirit.
This approach blends flavourful ingredients with health benefits, creating meals that satisfy your senses while enhancing your vitality with culinary richness and balance. We use a pallette of sattvic ingredients to ensure that your food supports your yoga, mediation and cleansing practices, leaving you feeling nourished, balanced and strong. Here we move beyond calories and macronutrients to embrace food as a tool for creating harmony, balance, and optimal health.
As much as possible of our gorgeous fruit and veg will come from Tolhurst Organic farm, based on site, who use stock free farming to produce the lowest possible carbon footprint, cruelty free food. Wow, I don’t know where to begin. What an amazing weekend I had on the Natural Flow Yoga retreat, it’s beyond words. I arrived feeling agitated and closed and I left feeling peaceful and open hearted. The experience of love, joy and connection from everyone really touched my heart. The teachers were skilled, knowledgeable and brought so much love and energy to their sessions. The musicians played from the heart and it felt like one big family around the camp fire. I would recommend Natural Flow to anyone

I would describe my experience at the Sadhama - Insight Vipassana Silent Meditation Retreat as PERFECT!!!!!! Seriously! If you are looking to 'sort your sh1t out', then you need look... read more no further. The team created the perfect setting to get you on the path and support you as you travelled along it. Utterly sublimely organised from the delicious food to the utterly beautiful location. I wanted a river and lots of greenery. This retreat delivered in that in abundance. On the banks of the River Thames surrounded by 200 year old oak trees and fields that stretch to the rolling green hills in the distance. Nature gently holds you as you are guided through your practice. Bliss. Expert guidance carried me through as I worked hard on my practice. I felt hugely supported, even through the silence. The power and love I felt emanating from the group was immense. Wow! Wow! Wow! I wouldn't change a thing. Didn't miss my phone one bit. So glad to have a break from the craziness of the modern life. Don't let the early starts put you off either. It turns out they are exactly what you need! You go to bed early anyway and awake energised, ready to mediate some more. Stop reading this now and get yourself booked in. I promise you will not regret this opportunity to develop. Written with the deepest of love. I'm in! Vipassana all the way! I'm already booked in for another trip! Good luck legend! You're doing better than you think!

This was the best week of my life in terms of personal development. Words cannot describe how beneficial this retreat was for my mind and energy.
Firstly, Dmitry, the meditation teacher,... read more was incredible, so wise and deeply knowledgeable about the technique. Normally, at school, I would get distracted, but having Dmitry as my teacher allowed me to fully embrace the Vipassana technique and benefit greatly from it.
Before this retreat, I had meditated regularly for three years, about 30 minutes a day. But during this one week, I learned a technique that was more effective than any other practice I had tried. I will be continuing what I have learned from this retreat for the rest of my life.
I also cannot write this review without mentioning Karen, who cooked the most incredible vegan Ayurvedic food. This food gave us the energy and mental clarity to meditate for extended periods each day.
In the evenings, there was a sauna to use, cold-water swimming available, and massage therapists on site.
This retreat was honestly life-changing, and I will 100% be back in the future.

I recently attended a Vipassana retreat with Sadama Rewild Retreats, and it has been one of the most profound experiences of my 50 years.
This year has been a very inward... read more journey for me, and when I booked the retreat back in February, I knew I was looking for silence—but I didn’t realise just how much it would involve. Vipassana is simple in structure but powerful in practice: long periods of sitting in stillness, going deeply within, supported by walking meditations and a gentle daily yoga session. If you’re considering it, I would recommend some yoga practice beforehand, as it really helps you benefit from the extended meditations.
The teaching from Dmitry was humble, clear, and deeply impactful. The retreat began with a warm debrief from Karen, who also prepared the most nourishing Ayurvedic food throughout the week. The meals were incredible—wholesome, flavourful, and surprisingly left me with no cravings for sugar, caffeine, or anything else. It truly supported the essence of Vipassana: being fully present in the moment.
The environment was just as supportive—the setting near London is stunning, with water, birds, trees, and wide open landscapes holding the group beautifully. Being in silence with 50 others doing the same inward work created an energy of safety and connection that simply cannot be replicated alone. By the end of the retreat, the vulnerability and openness shared was extraordinary, a testament to how well-held and supported we all felt.
The entire team—Dimitri, Karen, David, and others—give so much with such generosity of spirit. This is not an easy retreat, but if you are on the fence, I would highly recommend it. What you learn about yourself has the potential to shift everything. I have already booked to return 🙏

One of the most beautiful & transformative experiences in my life! The whole team was caring and amazing at creating a safe space for our journey which helped us to... read more really deepen our practice. Dmitry's teaching is astonishing! He's so wise and settled in his practice it basically just jumps on you. Karen's nurishing food and care also helped a lot through the whole retreat. If you want to experience the real deal (truly lucky to receive teachings in english), meet like minded beautiful people, be surrounded by nature, love, inspiration and spiritual drive 1000% this is the right place to do it at! I will definitely be back xx

This was my first retreat, but by following the instructions and wisdom of Dmitry (the yogi), I have taken away some very valuable advice and experiences.
By being explicitly not profit-driven,... read more the risk of joining Sadhama for a retreat is minimal. I am not intitiated, I am not experienced, yet I have faith that I experienced an authentic teaching of Vipassana. For little cost, I have been blessed with one of the most important weeks of my entire life.
Also, on day one skepticisms will be put in check by Karen's (Head chef) mindblowing ayurvedic food.
Thank you to the incredible team behind this whole thing, a real diamond in the rough.
P.s. I highly recommend not neglecting to open your hips and strengthen your body (legs, knees, lower back, neck) just a little bit beforehand, or you'll suffer from some annoying pain like I did.

A huge thank you from my deepest heart for providing the perfect retreat!
I'm still smiling and floating from this weekend ........
The energy that you and your team brought was so... read more beautiful. It was the perfect balance of activities without any pressure. And somehow you also summoned beautiful participants! I could feel the love reverberating.
Most importantly I realised I felt safe, because I was in good hands, and with my tribe, the people who are aligned to me. I haven't felt that safe and amongst my own for a long time.
Thank you again to Karen for supporting my endless food intolerances - the food was amazing! I hope you weren't rolling your eyes when you saw me!!! You've reminded me to honour my Vata
Thank you Dimitri for your energy and guiding light, your peace and wise words, and reminding me of that I'm on the right path, and to stop and be present a little more. What an inspiration.

Natural flow last summer was a life highlight for me. I was absolutely mesmerised and captivated by the sheer talent of the musicians, the passion and authenticity of the workshop facilitators, and the standard of care in every detail from the food, to the setting to the communication. I’ve been to a billion and one retreats, but never ever one like this. It felt like coming home. I absolutely with my whole heart want to be a part of that in any small way I can!

“This was my second time to a Sadhama retreat and once again it exceeded all my expectations. What Dima and Karen create on these retreats is something very special, from the food, to the practices and ceremonies, to the sacred land that it all takes place on. As for the Lovejam tribe…wow! The music and singing around the campfire was very special…Lewis and Lana both incredible talents and Phil’s yoga was up there with the best I have ever experienced, Nathan and Joe…they all held space for us so beautifully. It’s testament to all involved by how much so many of us were transformed after just 2 days. I totally recommend booking yourself on a Sadhama retreat if you want to feel joy, unity, connection, freedom, empowerment and love…all things that the world needs now more than ever!”

“The Hardwick Estate is a magical place and Dmitry & Karen dedicated to helping, healing and sharing their gifts with the world. Under Dmitry’s kind, humorous and humble guidance, one can find their way back to their true selves. If you are looking for a genuine place to connect to yourself and your heart under the care of those who only have your best interests at heart, this is it.”

“This was an amazing retreat – my best yet and i’ve been on a lot all over the world. The teachings were amazing, the food exemplary. It was a truly nurturing experience and even as a beginner yogi, I felt very welcome and able to follow and stretch as best I could without any inner criticism or comparisons to others, which is new. Thank you so much I truly looked forward to the next one”
